Bought this for my tea enthusiast girlfriend, for her birthday. It is smaller than your usual tea pots. She was excited to add this to her collection. It is perfect for someone who is looking for comfort in a cup and art. I think seeing the tea steep is an amazing process, just keep in mind the piece is fragile.

I am overall very pleased with this. The only thing is that it is so small and delicate you have to be VERY careful. The teapot glass is VERY thin. The fingerholes are small so it could be easy to loose your grip and drop it. But if you feel your little tea sipping hands are delicate enough then it will be a joy to use. It is just as pictured. I love just seeing it sitting on the table.

I love the teapot but the photo on it of the birds were not what was shown on the photo it was dull like it was stamped on also wish it was a little larger

If you're using a larger leaf, it shouldn't be a problem. I think by design this infuser doesn't end up brewing as strong, but maybe I would've known this if I was an experienced loose leaf tea drinker. I still love it, but it would be better for a more mild infusion, like a green or chamomile, and not as much for a stronger more medicinal steep like I was looking for.
